My Most used Baby Items!

Brooks is officially one month old and I've had quite a few requests to share our top used baby products! I'm rounding them up and linking them below! We use these products almost daily! I'm sure as he grows, products will change, but these are all definitely items that I recommend getting for your babies first year!

  1. Owlet Smart Sock- This foot monitor is designed to notify you if your babies heart rate and oxygen fall outside of the preset zones! This product seriously gives us so much peace of mind when Brooks is sleeping and lets us know he is safe!

  2. Nuna Tavo Travel System- This stroller/car seat combo has been so wonderful! The car seat is one of the lightest on the market weighing in at a mere 5.3 lbs. The car seat snaps right into the stroller so you don't have to wake baby up if your baby is asleep and you need to move baby from the car seat to the stroller! A lot of people ask why I chose Nuna over Uppa baby and the answer is that the car seat is so light weight! I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to carrying something heavy so this car seat is EVERYTHING!

  3. Dock A Tot - This baby lounger is seriously a life saver. I use it all the time during the day when I'm needing a spare hand. He will lounge around in it while we are sitting on the couch or in the bed watching tv. It's so nice to have a comfy place to put him near us. This allows him to feel secure wherever we lay him down and allows each surface to feel the same, no matter where he is resting. It travels easy and has a removable cover to wash when necessary.

  4. Halo Bassinet- This item isn't a necessity but we have LOVED having it. I had several friends recommend this because it swivels over your bed and has a side that you can push down, so you don't necessarily have to get out of bed to tend to baby.

  5. Pack N Play - This item is a MUST! A lot of moms use this as a bedside basinet for the first several weeks/months of life (and is a much cheaper option if you are not wanting to spend that much on the halo)! Since we have the Halo Bassinet, we have kept this in our living room and use it as a changing table or a place for him to lay/nap during the day! This is also going to be our go to for traveling! This will be a safe place for him to sleep if we are away from home!

  6. 4 Mom's Mama Roo- An infant seat that bounces up and down and sways side to side. We keep this is our living room and use it daily. It's a saving grace with multiple speeds and motions, it allows me to be hands free for a moment when I need to do things around the house! The newborn insert is super nice to have when baby is small because it makes them a little more secure in the mama roo.

  7. Star Bouncer- This bouncer stays in our bedroom/bathroom. It's super nice to have if i'm hoping in the shower or trying to get ready. Its light weight so it's easy to move around the house. He loves this one because it has a vibration setting and lullaby music ( a nice infant seat alternative to the mama room if you are wanting something that is less pricey).

  8. Halo Sleep Sack Swaddle- Sleep sacks are essential and you need a few - basically if it’s fabric, you need multiple. These Halo Sleepsacks are great because they have the arm holes and zipper, but also the Velcro-around band so when baby needs arms swaddled in, the band goes around the arms to keep them in. When they begin the transition to arms out, you can do one arm out at a time, and eventually, no arms in at all in this same sleep sack. These also come in cotton, muslin, and fleece to adapt to different seasons.

  9. Boppy nursing pillow- Super handy to prop baby up for feeds. This was also super handy for recovery postpartum. I sat on this in the hospital and at home.

  10. Hatch Sound Machine & Night Light- This duo is awesome because you can control it from your phone!

  11. Portable Sound Machine- We take this little guy everywhere! It's so convenient to take in the car, on a walk, or wherever you need.

  12. Skip Hop Leap Changing Pad- We keep this changing pad in brooks nursery. It is super easy to wipe clean and easily sits on the babies dresser. It also has a mobile to keep baby entertained.

  13. Skip Hop Pronto Portable Changing Mat- we love this portable changing mat- We love this one because it's convenient to grab on the go and easily wipes clean! It has saved us when we are out and there is no changing table in site. It has its own strap that allows you to easily attach to the stroller, baby carrier, or diaper bag.

  14. Moms On Call Book- I seriously refer to this as the baby bible. I cannot tell you how often we reference this book. It talks about all things you need to know between 0-6 months. We are using this to put Brooks on a schedule and help sleep train him. I have so many friends that said this did wonders for them!

  15. Absorbant burp cloths- these are light weight, super absorbent, and easy to carry in the diaper bag! We also love these from target!

  16. Aquaphor- Miracle product for dry or peeling skin. We also use it as a preventative to booty rash!

  17. Bourdreaux's Butt Paste- Booty rash? Boudreaux's butt paste has you covered and will heal it right

  18. Cloud Island Onesies- Brooks has lived in these pj's! They zip which makes for easy diaper changes in the middle of the night! Also, they are only $12 and come in a pack of 3!

  19. Copper Pearl Car Seat/Nursing Cover- You gotta have a car seat cover! I use it to cover him if we are going out to eat or running errands, its nice to keep him enclosed and away from germs! It also doubles as a nursing cover!

  20. Oxy Tot Bottle Drying Rack- This has been a lifesaver for drying out bottles and my pumping accessories. It is super easy to clean as well.

  21. Noodles and Boo Baby Wash- This shampoo/body wash smells AMAZING. We also use the lotion as well!

  22. Dreft- This detergent is hypoallergenic and formulated for babies, not to mention it makes all of his clothes and blankets smell so good!

xoxo, Courtney & Brooks
